Sunday Mornings Find a New Rhythm at the Park
Sunday mornings at Broadwater Parklands are getting a little more colourful, musical and fun.
GC Aqua Park has introduced relaxed Sunday activations at the café, including live music, free balloon art and face painting. It’s all about giving families more reasons to slow down, enjoy the waterfront and make the most of their morning.
Live Music at the Café
Sunday live music has added a relaxed weekly vibe to the café, creating an easy atmosphere that fits perfectly with the parklands.
Visitors can grab a coffee, enjoy the music and stay a little longer by the water, whether they’re stopping after a walk, meeting friends or watching the kids enjoy the park.
Free Balloon Art and Face Painting
On select weekends, free balloon art and face painting have brought extra smiles to visitors of both GC Aqua Park and Broadwater Parklands.
It’s a simple way to make the day feel special, especially for families already enjoying the parklands. More colour, more laughs, more “look at my face paint!” moments.
The best part? These little extras are helping create a stronger community feel, with familiar faces returning and families bringing others along to enjoy the Sunday atmosphere.
Champions of fun — now with live music and balloon animals.
Whether you’re visiting the Aqua Park, strolling through Broadwater Parklands or just chasing a coffee with a view, Sunday mornings are now serving a little extra fun.
Come for the splash. Stay for the soundtrack.
