BACK-TO-BACK GOLD: GC AQUA PARK WINS QUEENSLAND’S TOP TOURISM PRIZE AGAIN
A Gold-Winning Gold Coast Experience
This November, we were awarded Gold for Queensland Major Tourist Attraction at the QTIC awards night, taking out the honour for the second year running. It’s a proud moment for our team, our guests and the Gold Coast community.
Winning this award once was incredible. Winning it two years in a row shows the heart, care and energy our team brings to every splash-filled day.
From first-time visitors to regular families, our goal is simple: create safe, memorable fun that keeps people itching to come back for more.
Celebrating Accessible Tourism
The park was also recognised with Silver in Accessible Tourism, a proud reminder that great days out should feel welcoming, inclusive and easy to enjoy. We’re always working to make the experience better for more guests, so families, friends and groups can share the fun together.
Operational Excellence Behind the Fun
Behind every slide, jump and laugh is a team focused on keeping the park running smoothly.
November 2025, we also received Gold in Operational Excellence at the Abundance Global awards night, a huge nod to the systems, people and care that help deliver a great guest experience.
New Obstacles, Fresh Challenges
The fun keeps growing, with new obstacles now up and running, including a flying fox and ball challenge.
That means more ways to climb, balance, race, splash and challenge the family. Warning: bragging rights may be claimed by children.
Guest feedback continues to highlight what families value most: friendly staff, helpful service, well-maintained facilities, safe equipment and a family-friendly experience.
It’s the simple stuff that makes the biggest difference, easy fun, happy kids and memories that last long after everyone dries off.
Why guests loved us in November
“Party host was excellent, took control and great with kids.”
“Annabel was our party assistant today and she was awesome. Super friendly!”
“All in all it’s a good experience. Though the younger lifeguards up on the slide…”
“Amazing place to come with friends and family.”
“Great value for annual pass. Easy to get in.”
These awards belong to the team, our guests and the Gold Coast community that continues to support local family fun.
Two years running, and we’re just getting warmed up. Champions of fun. Gold-medal splash energy.
