Safety First, Fun Always at Broadwater Parklands
Big splashes are even better when families know they’re in safe hands.
This September, our team took part in specialist rescue training led by a professional trainer from Royal Life Saving. The three-hour session was held on-site and focused on realistic Aqua Park scenarios, helping our crew practise the exact skills they may need in our unique water environment.
The session covered practical rescue responses, safe guest retrieval, spinal rescue drills and fast response techniques across different areas of the park. Staff also practised timed exercises designed to help them stay calm, confident and ready when every second matters.
This training is now set to continue monthly, supporting our ongoing commitment to safe, family-friendly fun. It means our team can stay prepared, alert and focused on giving every guest a visit that feels simple, supported and full of confidence.
Families continue to tell us what they love most about visiting: friendly staff, helpful service, family-friendly fun, safe equipment and a well-maintained park experience. Reviews also mention easy online booking, nearby café options and no long queues — making it a simple Gold Coast day out without the theme park fuss.
So when the kids are ready to climb, slide, jump and splash, you can relax knowing safety is part of the fun from the moment you arrive.
Champions of fun. Serious about safety. Ridiculous about fun.
Why visitors couldn’t get enough at the park in September

From the adrenaline of the Aqua Park to the chilled-out vibes at Holy Ship, this combination brings a perfect ending to a family day out. If you are on the Gold Coast this summer, add this duo to your list!
